Case Reference

In the case of Itikala Srinu v. State of A.P.[1] it was observed that Motive in a criminal case plays an important role. When there is a clear proof of motive for the crime that lends additional support to the finding of the Court that the accused was guilty of the offence. But the absence of clear proof of motive does not necessarily lead to the contrary conclusion.
